David Karl Brookreson
David offers a hardworking, common-sense approach to investing, especially for people who are retired or near retirement. His areas of focus include risk management, asset allocation, and retirement and estate planning.
When advising individual clients, companies and nonprofit organizations, David draws on his business experience working for Rohm & Haas, Boise Cascade, Gould Paper and Kanzaki Specialty Papers. He became a Financial Advisor in 1996 and joined the Doylestown office of Wheat First Butcher Singer, which has since experienced tremendous growth and is now known as Wachovia Securities. In 2005, David and his son, Jesse, established the Brookreson Wealth Management Group of Wachovia Securities.
David holds Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities registrations and applicable insurance licenses. He graduated from Temple University in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in physics.
Married since 1970, David and his wife, Dona, have five children and 13 grandchildren, and they live in Huntingdon Valley. When not serving clients, David enjoys golf, cooking and astronomy.

Jesse Friend Brookreson
Jesse, a LaSalle University alumnus, graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1998. Jesse’s 10 years of experience in the financial- services industry began during his years at LaSalle, when his studies included an internship program on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. After graduation, he began his career as an equity specialist trader and then an institutional sales trader. In 2005, after eight years of trading experience, he joined his father, David, and helped establish the Brookreson Wealth Management Group of Wachovia Securities.
Jesse holds Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities registrations and carries insurance licenses for accident and health, variable life/variable annuity, and life and fixed annuities.
Jesse lives in Hatboro with his wife, Molly, and their daughters, Mavis and Martha. His outside interests include golf, cooking, fishing and music.
